Bala Books is an independent Telugu publishing house based in Tirupati, founded by M. B. Usha Prathyusha. The publishing house was established in memory of her father, Sri Late M. S. Bhaskar, an English lecturer whose passion for literature inspired its creation. The name ""Bala"" is derived from the names of her parents, Bhaskar and Lakshmi, reflecting the personal inspiration behind the publication.
